Do any of you seriously think that rhetorical questions need answering?

Or maybe you'd like to just leave some off-topic comments. Like, about your most recent holiday, or the crap job your plumber did last week when fixing your leaky toilet.
Or just abuse. That's always an option, if you can't think of anything else.

...Are you referring to those rhetorical questions, concerned with the effects or styles of both writing and speaking ?

I'd like to have it on record, that these are often the most worthwhile ones that do honestly deserve a prim and proper answer !

One little question, though : What is your question doing here, in the Non-Alcoholic Drinks category ?!

When I hear rhetorical questions, they are nearly always asked in a highly caustic manner, thus making me wish t o answer them, when they are not supposed to be!

I don't think they necessarily need answering, but I do think they need to be considered and thought about. It can provide a bit of enlightenment.
