You can use actual lemons or Realemon, add it to water, and sweeten it however much you want with whatever you use.

The best lemonade I ever had was made by squeezing the juice and dropping a lemon half into a 14 ounce cup. Add two generous tablespoons of sugar, a handful of ice and then top off with water. Give it a couple of stirs and then a couple of minutes and it tastes just like summer.

2 cups lemon juice
2 cups granulated sugar
And add water until level reaches 1 gallon. (this does NOT mean to *add* 1 gallon of water, ok?! Water + juice + sugar = 1 gallon liquid)
You can halve this, and use 1 cup juice and 1 cup sugar, and add water to make 2 quarts.
I find a plastic pitcher w/ levels marked on it the best for this.
These ratios also work well w/ Splenda. I mkae this all the time, and prefer it to any powdered drink mix.
