WHY is yelp filtering all my good reviews, and leaving up the ONLY two negative reviews?? This is seriously NOT fair, or right.

If your reviews are all coming from the same source Yelp will be able to detect them instantly. Also if your good reviews were solicited rather than coming "organically" then they are generally easy to spot. Hope this helps I can add more if needed.

I was just talking to a lawyer at a party last night and he is having this same problem... Yelp is really quite despicable and can ruin a companies reputation because they are more worried about advertising revenue then getting people's true reviews. People have tried to sue them in the past, but no one has been able to stop them.

What kills me is that they are they "go to" site for so many people that do not know what they do, and they even get air time on shows like "Kitchen Nightmares," which loves the bad reviews, of course.

Negative reviews draw higher click throughs than high reviews. Therefore since Yelp makes its income from advertisers on their site, they need as many people clicking on their reviews as possible.

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about it. If you have bad reviews, make sure the rest of your search results are positive. Moving Yelp off page one is a huge undertaking and only a few companies have the resources to suppress such a strong asset.
