I work at McDonald's were we have the best coffee ever. I'm addicted to caffeine but not much of a tea or coke drinker. I drink Coffee all the time at work and i like it, however when i make coffee at home it tastes watered down and doesn't have much flavor, I've tried decreasing the amount of water and increasing the amount of coffee grains and Viceversa, but nothing seems to help. can you help me?

Your coffee maker is probably brewing at to low of a temperature. Coffee should be brewed at 195-205 degrees F. Many home brewers brew at temperatures in the 170 degree range or so.

You can get better coffee if you buy a brewer where you can control the temperature, such as a French press or a Chemex.

Try cleaning out your coffee machine - after a while, buildup can make your coffee taste sorta nasty. Run vinegar through one cycle, followed by 3 cycles of water. I do that once a month and my coffee tastes great!

Most home coffee machines simply can't make coffee-house style coffee. You may want to try a french press or a higher grade coffee bean (freshly ground).
